GO Sports Football League 2012

Go Sports Football League is an amazing opportunity for boys and girls aged 7-14.

Go Sports Football League practices and matches happen on Sunday afternoons in fixed time slots between 1:00-6:30pm starting June 24, 2012.

Players' skill levels are evaluated on Sunday, June 24th and teams are formed on this basis (as equal as possible).  Once teams are announced, the teams will have fixed time slots on Sunday afternoons (usually a 1 to 1-1/2 hour block each week) for their practices or matches.  Each team will have at least two practices before starting their league matches.  The league champion for each age group will be decided based on points.  The year concludes with a special Awards Nite on Saturday, September 1st where the players are honoured and winning teams congratulated.

This year's Go Sports Football League will be happening at the football grounds in SDAT, Egmore on Poonamalellee High Road.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO PLAYERS WHO HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED FOR
THIS YEAR'S LEAGUE

1. Participation in the Skill Trial on Sunday, June 24th is mandatory.  Go Sports reserves the right to refund fees for any player who fails to attend the Skill Trial.

2. The Skill Trial will take between 45 and 60 minutes (maximum).  As soon as the Skill Trial is complete, players will be free to leave for the day.

3. Players should report to SDAT grounds based on their age as follows:
 13-14 years:  Report at 2:30pm sharp
 10-12 years:  Report at 3:30pm sharp
 7-9 years:      Report at 4:30pm sharp

4. All Players should come dressed in a tee-shirt, shorts, and athletic shoes

5. Do not bring water bottles, bags or other valuables.  Go Sports will take no responsibility whatsoever
 for watching any items you bring with you.  As we are in a public place, valuables left unattended are  likely to be pilfered.

This year's schedule is as follows:

June 24 - Skill Trials
July 1, 8 - Team Practices
July 15, 22, 29, August 5, 12, 19, 26 - League Matches
September 1 (Sat) - Awards Nite 

Cost to participate in the League is Rs. 2000
The deadline for registrations at this price (if seats are available) is June 22nd.
If seats are still available, registrations received from June 24th onwards will be Rs. 2750.
A team jersey and shorts are included with the registration fees.
Ashraya reserves the right to close registration for any age group at any time.

2.  Write separate cheques / DDs payable to "Ashraya Fellowship of India" for each child.
Attach each cheque to the respective form.

If hand-delivering, please note that our office will be open from June 5th onwards and our timings are 11am-6pm, Tuesday-Saturday.
Our office is NOT OPEN on Mondays.

4.  Registration is on a first-come first-serve basis.  Seats are limited, so please register early.
Rights of admission are reserved.  Ashraya reserves the right to close registration for any age group at any time.  No request for refunds will be entertained after Sunday, June 24th, 2012.
