Small Groups

You might wonder how you can really get to know someone in such a crowd on Sunday mornings.

The community-life of Ashraya is based on a number of small group settings where you can get to know people more intimately.  Feeling "connected" is simply a matter of a little effort on your part.

The Alpha Course and Beta Course are designed to not only help you to know how you can follow Jesus in a more practical way, but to help assist you to ultimately graft yourself into the "life of the church" through what we call "Life Groups".

Many of our main activities, be it regular prayer, care for one another, or outreach to the less fortunate all happen in the Life Group context.  The idea is simple.  A small group of people who "do life" together.

If you're not part of a Life Group, take the effort to join our next Alpha Course.  Courses start every January and June.  This will get you on your way to becoming part of a Life Group at Ashraya.
